Once logged into MicroREC Connect, you'll enjoy a range of benefits making medical data management more efficient:
01. Identifying Sessions and Patients:
Upon starting any session from the MicroREC app or directly from the web in MicroREC Connect, you'll be able to identify each session and patient using fields such as:
Patient ID: Uniquely identify your patient or the session you are working on.
Comments: Leave notes about the procedure being performed or the diagnosis found.
Tags: Create and select tags for each session, which can be diagnoses, characteristics, or anything else relevant.
Pro Tip: Start the session from the app, fill in this information first, and then take photos or videos.
02. Enhanced Search :
MicroREC Connect's powerful search feature allows you to easily locate sessions based on various criteria:
Date: Find sessions based on the automatically assigned date of creation.
Patient ID: Retrieve sessions associated with a specific patient identifier.
Tags: Filter sessions by specific tags, enabling quick identification of relevant sessions.
03. Seamless Link Sharing:
Share photos and videos (especially large ones) effortlessly without downloading them or using additional software. Simply click on "Share" and generate a link that you can send to colleagues or patients via email or WhatsApp. This feature applies for the app and for Connect.
04. Smart Storage for Optimal Efficiency
Smart Storage feature automatically uploads the app's content to the cloud, freeing up device storage space. You only have to select a period of time in which you like the app to make the cleaning.
To access this feature:
Open the app and go to Settings.
Select Cloud Storage Settings, followed by Smart Storage.
05. Manual Cleanup:
This feature empowers you to manually manage your device's storage. To utilize this feature in the app:
Navigate to Settings > Cloud Storage Settings > Manual Cleanup.
Choose whether to delete photos or videos.
Important Notes:
Manual Cleanup only removes content already uploaded to Connect. Identify these files by checking for the cloud icon in the bottom right corner.
Do not delete content directly from the app.
Files uploaded in Connect but not stored in the phone will appear with a cloud icon in the middle
06. Upload and Download Queue
Click on the cloud icon in the app's top right corner to access the Upload and Download Queue. This queue displays the status of video uploads to the cloud.
06. Stay-On Sync
Stay on Sync mode prevents your phone from locking while uploading large videos to the cloud. It's recommended to use this mode at night when you're not actively using your phone.
Pro Tip:
Enable this mode while charging your phone overnight.
The phone will automatically lock once the video uploads are complete.
