1.Smart Storage: To free up space on your device without losing access to your videos or photos, the Smart Storage feature is a valuable tool. Here's how it works:
Periodic Cleanup 🧹Define a period that aligns with your usage patterns (Monthly, Weekly, Daily). MicroREC Connect will automatically remove videos or photos from your phone storage that are older than the specified period, but only if they are already backed up.
Save your changes to cloud storage settings and remember that you can change them anytime.
Example Scenario: Consider a doctor who typically reviews videos from the app taken within the last two weeks but seldom revisits videos older than a month, except for upcoming conferences. By setting the Automatic Cleanup to "Older than 1 month," they ensure conservative storage management, and if they need to view an older video on the phone, it can be downloaded again from Connect.
2. Manual Cleanup of Backed-up Videos or photos: When facing an urgent need to liberate storage space from mobile phone, the Manual Cleanup feature provides a swift solution. Here's what you need to know:
Comprehensive Removal 🗑️This feature removes all videos or photos that are already backed up from the phone storage. Before proceeding, you can preview the amount of space that will be freed up, allowing you to make an informed decision.

Files removed from your device are accessible in MicroREC Connect. Download them again or view them within the app. Files with a cloud icon are securely stored in the cloud, ensuring easy access in MicroREC Connect.
